Its FA Cup time again as we will be entertaining Old Woodstock Town from the Hellenic Premier Division at Grigg Lane on Sat Aug 14th KO 3pm in the Extra Preliminary Round. The draw for the first qualifying round of the FA Vase sees the team with a home tie against Crowborough Athletic from the Sussex County League Division One. This tie is to be played on Sat Sept 4th.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
