All the pre season and August's league fixtures have been added to the fixture page. PLEASE NOTE: The game away against Poole Borough has been cancelled by Poole as they don't want to play against a "fringe side" from Brockenhurst. The list of players who will be playing for the team this season will be added ASAP.
N.B. After last season where people were moaing about the lack of combination league games, the Wessex League have altered the league structure resulting in one league with each team having to play 42 games (Downton Res have withdrawn). With cup games on top and any bad weather that we might have, it will be a very interesting season fixture wise.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
